We enjoy relaxing under the canopy on our swing in the yard during the summer months. Our teenage children spend time reading and playing guitar outdoors on the swing. We will continue to enjoy it in the fall around the fire pit. It is comfortable and attractive. I found the assembly instructions to be specific and following them led to successful construction in a reasonable time frame. There was a rough edge on one of the arm rests that does not interfere with the comfort of the swing but that I plan to sand a little when it comes time to re-stain the swing.
The swing set order had 3 items to it. One item was backordered and the notice of such did not specify which element it was. Customer service addressed the issue promptly. The item on backorder came well before estimated delivery and all items were received in good condition.

I built my own A-frame for the swing based on the Wood Country design on this site from select heart redwood and placed the swing in it. I was concerned that the swing was cedar and my A-frame was redwood, but that does not seem to be a problem.
I have placed the swing outdoor and the chains and other hardware is marvelous. I am a swing lover and look forward to years of enjoyment.
The swing arrived on time and without any damage. I ordered on Google Checkout and there were issues with the shipping address even though I had spoken with a representative to confirm the address.
Overall, Mercantila did a good job and had the best price in the market.

We love the swing. I'm glad I got the 5 ft swing, it was smaller than I expected and would have been disappointed with the 4ft. Looks great and is comfortable.

I found the mission porch swing a little difficult to assemble. The swing looks even better in person then it does looking at a picture of it. I look for quality over a great deal. I found this swing to be both a great deal and excellent quality. I've owned the swing for over a year now and it still looks brand new. Twice a year I put a sealer over it. I use a teak oil made from star brite. I use a brush to put the sealer on and wipe it off with a clean cloth. It only takes about 30 minutes to do. I found that doing this twice a year will allow you not to use a cleaner before putting the oil on. I highly recomend purchasing this swing. I think mine will last for many years.

I bought this swing almost a year ago. It has been out in the snow and rain and still looks wonderful. This is such a perfect addition to my landscaped yard.
